The Way of Peace talks began in 1994 at the John Main Seminar as a series of interreligious dialogues. His Holiness the Dalai Lama and other renowned speakers examined the role of religions as forces of peace and reconciation.

Franciscan priest and founder of the Center of Action and Contemplation, Richard Rohr, OJM was the quest speaker at the 2004 Way of Peace talks.
